What does Tembunar cost?
The app is free to use. Labelled Amazon affiliate links may generate commission for the operator. Optional PayPal support is separate and can be skipped.
How do shared gifts work?
For wishes with a stored value above EUR 20, gift-givers can link an externally created PayPal pool. The organizer enters the link, target and collected amount manually; there is no automatic PayPal balance synchronization.
What is Tembunar?
Tembunar is a web app for creating and sharing wishlists with product links. Invited people can buy from the linked shop, then mark a wish as purchased and leave a comment.
Do my guests need an account?
Yes. Guests sign in with their email address before opening a shared wishlist. The invitation link lets them join the list after sign-in.
Who can see my wishlist?
The creator and signed-in people who joined using the invitation link. Forwarding the link can allow additional signed-in people to join. Personal lists are separate from the public information pages.
Can I share a list through WhatsApp?
Yes. Use “Share” in the app to copy your invitation link or open a prepared WhatsApp message. You send the message yourself. Invitations are not sent by email.
Are purchases detected automatically?
No. Buy from the linked retailer, then mark the wish as purchased yourself. Add the exact version you bought to help other gift-givers coordinate.
Can the creator see purchased gifts?
Not by default. After three explicit confirmations, the creator can reveal purchases, buyer names, comments and counts in a read-only view. They can switch back to surprise mode at any time.
Can several people buy the same wish?
Yes. A wish can have multiple purchase entries, such as a shirt in black, blue and green. Each gift-giver describes the version they bought and can edit or remove only their own entries. One purchase does not prevent further purchases.
Does every wish need a product link?
No. A title is enough. Experiences and subgifts can be added without links. You can add or remove links later.
Which product links can I add?
You can add product links from different shops. Include the size, colour or edition in a note to help your guests find the right product.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It runs in a mobile or desktop browser. The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, with automatic browser-language selection and a saved personal preference.
Is it only for Christmas?
No. Birthdays, Easter, weddings, a new baby and housewarmings each have their own design. Other occasions use a custom name and the soap-bubble design.
